Trying to redesign another species for the “Andromeda” universe. This species was the first to come in contact with human refugees/colonies. I like the idea of having a tongue that can split. The underlying tongue is supposed to carry a hormone infused saliva, that also is highly acidic. it’s often used to communicate aggression or dominance… occasionally romance as well.
I still like the idea of hairless members being at the top of their hierarchy. I didn’t sketch any, maybe soon.
Maaaan. Photoshop has some of the coolest effects. I ended up liking this more than the original painting I did.
Used a few dread style references and this is what I ended up with.
I think it suits the look I want for Draege. Plus I just adore dreads.
I’ve also scrapped some facial designs for a new ones, I figure scarification is trending with the Huron youth. Thus Draege’s facial scars.
Playing around with Xeno’s split jaw.
I’m also thinking of changing her color scheme to be that of a doberman, maybe with an orange skull (I haven’t decided yet) since dobermans and orange are my favorite things.
Practicing my digital painting.
The three main Captains on “Apex” (a ship in the Zenith fleet), whom operate under a commander whom I have yet to design and name.
Compiled all my concepts for my superhero design into one sketchdump.
I adored this assignment and it was pretty neat to test a more comic style.
New character for a possible d&d game.
Her name is Margo and she is a merchant, were-sphinx whose full form is a house cat sized sphinx.
Possible new Banshae design.
Draege has a brother now. His name is Pusche (Drag and Push because I’m so clever). He’s only a year older, and from what I’ve gathered so far they are very close. Though, they do disagree on which family business to take over.
I figure younger Huron would have a more modern fashion versus past generations. But still have that Huron feel.
